In addition to using Webmail to check your mail over the Internet, you can
also use your favorite "traditional" email client. For example, you
may want to use Microsoft Outlook when checking email from your home or office
computer, but use SiteMail to check your mail when you are traveling.
In order to use an email client, you will need to configure it to work with
AdvancedNetworkHosts's mail servers. For most clients, you will need to specify the following
information:
| Information |
Description |
| User name |
If you are the Master User, this is your Master User
name. Otherwise, this is the user name that was created for you in SiteControl. |
| Password |
Your password. |
| Incoming (POP3) mail server |
mail.[domainname.com] |
| Outgoing (SMTP) server |
mail.[domainname.com] |
The following sections provided detailed instructions for configuring a number
of the most popular email clients. For detailed instructions on using these
email clients, see the product documentation.
