Use this to add categories and products.
You do not have to have categories and you can have some products
in a category and others products not in a category

(Note in order to add a product with an images you will need
to set the permissions on the /catalog/images directory to
777. After you have added the products its is important that
you change the permissions to 744. For information on setting
permissions, click here)
1. Click on the "New Product" button (See Figure-1)
2. After clicking "New Product" you will be a the
new product form, all fields on this form are optional
3. The form is made for many languages, if your store will
be in English only fill in the fields with the English Flag
4. After you have filled out the form click on the "Preview"
button at the bottom (See Figure-2)
5. If everything looks ok, click on the "Insert"
button to add your product to your cart. If you with to make
changes click on the "Back" button (See Figure-2)

How to add a product in a category
1. Click on the category that you wish to add the product
to
2. The category will change colors letting you know its been
selected
3. Then click on that category again to open it
4. Follow the instructions on how to. How to

How to delete a product
1. Click on the product you wish to delete
2. Then click on the "Delete" button on the right
side
3. If the product is in multiple categories you may remove
it from all categories at once by leaving them checked. To
only remove from one category removed the checks from the
categories you wish to keep it in.
4. Click on the "Delete" button to complete the
removal process

How to edit a product
1. Click on the product you wish to edit
2. Then click on the "Edit" button on the right
side
3. After clicking "Edit" you will be at the edit
product form, all fields on this form are optional

How to move a product from one category
to another
1. Click on the product you wish to move
2. Then click on the "Move" button on the right
side
3. From the drop down menu, select the category you wish to
move the product to. To move it out of a category choose the
"--Top--" option.
4. Then click on the "Move" button to complete the
move

How to copy a product from one category
to another
1. Click on the product you wish to move
2. Then click on the "Copy to" button on the right
side
3. From the drop down menu, select the category you wish to
copy the product to. To copy it out of a category choose the
"--Top--" option.
4. Choose whether you want to make another product exactly
the same or just an "image" of that product
5. Then click on the "Copy" button to complete the
copy

How to activate (reactivate)/inactivate
(temporarily remove) a product
1. Click on the product you wish to activate or inactivate
2. In the status column you will see a green bubble and a
red bubble
3. To inactivate a product click on the red bubble
4. To activate a product click on the green bubble

How to create a category
1. Click on the "New Category" button (Note: If
you are already in a category click the "Back" button
and then click on the "New Category" button)
2. On the right side enter in a category name. (Note:This
form is made for many languages, if your store will be in
English only fill in the fields with the English Flag )
3. Enter in an image(optional) (Note in order to add an image
you will need to set the permissions on the /catalog/images
directory to 777. After you have added the products its is
important that you change the permissions to 744. For information
on setting permissions, click here)
4. Click on the "Save" button to finish creating
the new category

How to delete a category
1. Click on the category you wish to delete
2. Click on the "Delete" button on the right side
3. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete that
category
4. Click on the "Delete" button to complete the
deletion process

3. Change the fields you wish to edit
